TheGospelPreached.org is a video curation blog that compiles and organizes video sermons from around the web. We curate, categorize, and annotate the sermons and provide easy access to the scriptures that the speakers reference. We want more people to rely on God’s word in their daily lives, so we’re working to make it more accessible and understandable. This is our heartfelt desire and prayer.

Over the last five years, online sermons have had a greater impact on my life than any other source of the gospel. Video has become an essential part of modern life as the internet and social media platforms have grown in popularity. People in my social circle started using social media to share and view videos, but I found myself drawn to watching online sermons. Surprisingly, I’ve discovered priceless treasures in internet sermons presented by ministers who are led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Their words have been Rhema, empowering me to live a purposeful and abundant life and guiding me through difficult times. Their lessons have also been revelatory, illuminating complex Bible scriptures and stories, and making the Bible easier to understand when I study it on my own.

An online sermon has frequently been the portal for the Holy Spirit to enter my living room, and as a result, I’ve had many life-changing encounters with God at home. But rather than discouraging me from going to church, I noticed that watching video sermons at home encouraged and led me back to active face-to-face involvement, but this time with a new attitude and purpose for coming. Rather than being motivated by guilt and obligation or by the quality of the day’s sermon, I find my primary motivation is encountering God together with the community of God and serving others.
